Technician Performance (New Grid)

The Technician Performance Grid provides a list of Work Orders within a specified Date Range (based on the designated type of Date field) and includes:

1.The Labor Hours, the Labor Cost, and related explanatory information (e.g., Subscriber, Technician, Service Type, Services Performed, Resolution description, etc.) for each Work Order

2.Totals for the number of Work Orders listed, the Labor Hours and the Labor (retail) Charges.

3.Print and Export capabilities.

4.All the normal functionality of a data grid.

 

To display the Technician Performance Grid Report:

a)From the Backstage Menu System Select Reports and Choose Service Tracking and Select the Technician Performance (New Grid) option, or

b)From the Quick Access Menu, Select Reports and Choose Service Tracking and Select the Technician Performance (New Grid) option

Setting Up the Technician Performance Grid dialog's data grid Options:

Select Date field - Using the Drop-Down Selection List provided, Choose the Date Field that will compared to the specified Date Range (see below).

Date Range - By default the Date Range offered will be the most recent Week ending in Today, but the User may specify any Range of Dates to be used to determine which Work Order records will be included in the Technician Performance Grid.

Start - Use the provided Drop-Down Calendar/Date Entry field to change the starting date, when required.

End - Use the provided Drop-Down Calendar/Date Entry field to change the ending date, when required.

 

Retrieve Data - Once the appropriate Date field is selected and the required Date Range specified, Click the Retrieve Data Icon to load that set of Work Order records into the Technician Performance Grid.

Go To Work Order - Right-Click on any line item within the Grid to open the Radial Right-Click Menu to access the Go To Subscriber option which will open the associated Subscriber Form.

HelpFilesNavigationMenuPrintWithNamePrint - When the Technician Performance Grid list has been formatted as needed, the User may Click the Print Icon to create a Print Preview.

The File Name may be specified (by default it is the Name of the Form from which the Export options was chosen).

The File Type may be specified (by default it is "XLS" but "TXT - Fixed Length", and "TXT Comma Delimited (CSV)" options are also available.

Select columns to be displayed - Choose the columns of data which are to be included in this data grid

Click the asterisk (¬) at the left of the data grid's Header row (see the mouse pointer in the illustration above) to display a list of all of the column names - and associated data - which may be displayed.

By default, all Column Names will be Checked.

Remove the Check mark (Click on the Check to remove it) to hide that column of data from the data grid.

 

Setting the Order in which the data in the grid is Listed within the Technician Performance Grid dialog (Report):

The default sorted order of the Technician Performance Grid List is based on the Technician's Employee Code - which is ordered from lowest to highest (1 - 9, a-z, then A - Z).

Thereafter, the column that determines the sorted order of the List may be easily changed, whenever needed.

To do so:

Click another column's Header Name (the mouse points to the sorting arrow within the Customer Name Header Name in the illustration above) to change the sorted order to by on that column of data, with the sorted order automatically set from lowest to highest (a-z or 1 - 9).  

To change this newly selected column's sorted order from highest to lowest, Click that column's Header Name again.

An Arrow next to the Header Name indicates the column that is determining the sorted order of the Grid Data.

o~ indicates lowest to highest (a-z or 1 - 9)

o indicates highest to lowest (z-a or 9-1).

 

Using the Technician Performance Grid:

Companies will use this Work Order data grid for many different purposes such as:

Calculating how much revenue each Technician (Department, Salesperson, Work Order Type, Service Type, Resolution Code) generated within a specific Date Range.

Printing a customized Technician Performance Report

Exporting the customized set of Technician Performance Data to a Spreadsheet file

Because this is a true data grid, it has all of a Grid's Sorting, Filtering, Column selection and positioning - as well as Printing, and data Export capabilities - which makes this Technician Performance Grid extremely powerful.
