System Administrator Options

The System Administrator Menu provides access to several System Utilities the System Administrator will use on almost a daily basis.

To access the System Administrator Menu:

a)From the Backstage Menu System Select the Maintenance Menu then Select the System Administrator option, or

b)From the Quick Access Menu, Select the Maintenance Menu then Select the System Administrator option

The System Utilities available on the System Administrator Menu (and externally) are:

Backup Database - Provides a multi-featured Database Backup procedure.

Validate Database - Check the integrity of the MKMSDefault.db (and MKMS.db, if chosen).

Validate Documents - Confirm the existence of Documents which have been associated (or attached) to any of these Forms:

1.Subscribers

2.Vendors

3.Employees

4.Equipment

5.Prospect

6.Dealer

7.Jobs

8.Sale-Purchase Items

Update Forms Table - This options is used to install any new Form Names that may be available due to the installation of an Upgrade.

Multiple Companies -  This is actually a stand-alone application for those who operate Multiple Companies and want to use the same accounting, service management, and/or inventory tracking application, while also sharing Employees for some tasks, and to improve the operational efficiency of, while reducing training requirements for, those businesses.
