❑The SMTP Setup tab on the Employee Form must be completed when your Company want to use an Email protocol not associated with Microsoft® Outlook® (and/or Outlook Express®).
•This SMTP Setup tab contains the fields representing the data required by most Email protocols that may be implemented.
✓If no SMTP Setup data is entered for an Employee who is sending Reports, Invoices , Proposals, Work Orders, Statements, etc., via Email, the system will default to using Microsoft® Outlook® (and/or Outlook Express®), if available.
•To enter this required information:
✓Open the Employee Form
✓Locate the appropriate Employee.
✓Click on the SMTP Setup tab
•Complete those fields required by the Email protocol being implemented:
Employee Form - SMTP Setup tab
✓SMTP Full - Enter the full description of the Employee following the format illustrated above.
✓SMTP Host - Identify the SMTP host name following the format illustrated above.
✓SMTP Port - Enter the SMTP Port Number.
✓SMTP Email - Enter the Employee's Email address
✓SMTP User - Enter the Employee's Email address
✓SMTP Pass - Enter the Password that is required when communicating with the Email protocol
✓SMTP Signature - Enter the signature this Employee wants to use at the end of their Email communication.
•Click the Icon to record this entry.
❑When and how this SMTP information is used:
Subscribers Form - Actions - E Mail Icon
✓The Subscriber's Email Address is inserted into the To section of the Email Message Form.
