Proposal Lost Reason

This Proposal Lost Reason Form is used to identify the various Reasons for why a Proposal would be rejected by a Prospect and/or a Subscriber.  

How are these Proposal Lost Reasons used?

a)One of these Proposal Lost Reasons must be assigned to any Proposal which was ultimately rejected.  

b)Thereafter:

1)The Proposal Loss Report will provide a list of those Proposals which were determined to have been lost (i.e., ultimately rejected by a Prospect or Subscriber) and includes - among other information - the Date of, and Reason for each rejection.

2)The Proposals (Grid) report will also report the Reason why a Proposal was rejected.

c)These reports may be grouped, sorted, and/or filter by one or more Reasons.

 

Defining the Proposal Lost Reasons your Company wants to Track:

a)From the Backstage Menu System Select Maintenance and Choose the General option, then select the General Maintenance option which displays the secondary Maintenance Menu or,

b)From the Quick Access Menu, Select Maintenance and Choose General Maintenance to display the secondary Maintenance Menu.

Locate the Prospects sub-menu and and Choose Proposal Lost Reason.

This Proposal Lost Reason Form may be Re-sized by Dragging the Top and/or Bottom up or down, and/or the Right side in or out.

 

Navigation Menu - The Navigation Menu is located at the top of the Proposal Lost Reason Form.

This Navigation Menu provides the normal Record Movement, plus Add, Delete, Cancel, Save, Refresh, and List options.

 

Record Editing View - The details of the currently selected record are displayed below the Navigation Menu at the center (Main Body) of the Proposal Lost Reason Form.

Proposal Lost Reason Form - Record Editing View

 

To define a Proposal Lost Reason for why a Proposal would be rejected by a Prospect or Subscriber

Click the HelpFilesNavigationMenuNewIcon to start the Proposal Lost Reason entry in the Record Editing View.

Proposal Lost Reason ID - This is the system assigned record number which is inserted automatically when the Proposal Lost Reason record is initially saved.

Description - Enter a brief Description of the Reason why a Proposal may be rejected.

The Description may up to 40 characters in length and include upper and/or lower case letters, numbers, spaces and normally used punctuation marks.

Active - Check this box to indicate this Proposal Lost Reason record is currently available for use.

Remove this Check Mark when your Company no longer wants to use this Proposal Lost Reason definition.

Click the HelpFilesNavigatorMenu-StandardSaveIcon to record this entry.

The system will assign an ID.

Repeat this process, as needed, to define each of the Proposal Lost Reason which will be required.

The columns of listed Grid Data may be rearranged, filtered, sorted, and exported as a PDF file and/or an Excel formatted file.

Find - Enter text to search for a specific record, then Click the Find option.

Clear - To remove the text to search for entry, Click the Clear option
