Proposal Status

This Proposal Status Form is used to create Descriptions representing the current Status (as it relates to the Sales Cycle) of a Proposal created for a Prospect or Subscriber.  

How are these Proposal Status Descriptions used?

a)One of these Proposal Status Descriptions must be assigned to each Proposal.  

b)Thereafter:

1)The associated Pipeline Analysis Report will provide a list (among many other things) of the Status of each listed Proposal  

2)The associated Proposals (Grid) report will also report the Status of each listed a Proposal.

c)These reports may be grouped, sorted, and/or filter by one or more the assigned Proposal Status.

 

Entering Proposal Lost Reasons

a)From the Backstage Menu System Select Maintenance and Choose the General option, then select the General Maintenance option which displays the secondary Maintenance Menu or,

b)From the Quick Access Menu, Select Maintenance and Choose General Maintenance to display the secondary Maintenance Menu.

Locate the Prospects sub-section and and Choose Proposal Status.

 

A Default Proposal Status record is automatically created by the system and cannot be deleted.

This Proposal Status Form may be Re-sized by Dragging the Top and/or Bottom up or down, and/or the Right side in or out.

 

Navigation Menu - The Navigation Menu is located at the top of the Proposal Status Form.

This Navigation Menu provides the normal Record Movement, plus Add, Delete, Cancel, Save, Refresh, and List options.

 

Record Editing View - The details of the currently selected record are displayed below the Navigation Menu at the center (Main Body) of the Proposal Status Form.

To define additional Proposal Status Descriptions which your Company wants to Track on Proposals.

Click the HelpFilesNavigationMenuNewIcon to start the Proposal Status entry in the Record Editing View.

Proposal Status ID - This is the system assigned record number which is inserted automatically when the Proposal Status record is initially saved.

Description - Enter a brief Description representing the Sales Cycle Status of a Proposal.

The Description may up to 40 characters in length and include upper and/or lower case letters, numbers, spaces and normally used punctuation marks.

Active - Check this box to indicate this Proposal Status record is currently available for use.

Remove this Check Mark when your Company no longer wants to use this Proposal Status definition.

Click the HelpFilesNavigatorMenu-StandardSaveIcon to record this entry.

The system will assign an ID.

Repeat this process, as needed, to define each of the Proposal Status which will be required.

The columns of listed Grid Data may be rearranged, filtered, sorted, and exported as a PDF file and/or an Excel formatted file.

Find - Enter text to search for a specific record, then Click the Find option.

Clear - To remove the text to search for entry, Click the Clear option
