Installation List

This Installation List page displays the Inventory Items previously identified in the Parts List tab of the Service Ticket's associated Work Order Form, and allows for the addition of the Quantity actually used

All of the Parts List tab entries for this Service Ticket are listed with the following information:

Item - An Inventory Item identified in the Parts List tab.

Quantity - The Quantity available to be used as identified in the Parts List tab.

Description - The description of Inventory Item

 

Understanding the Quantity field and Using the Add n button

The Installation List page lists all of the Inventory Items and associated Quantities that were previously identified in the Parts List tab as "probably needed" for this Service Ticket (Work Order).

The Quantity field only identifies the Quantity of the Inventory Items that are available to be used that were identified in the Parts List tab.

However, it's quite possible that some of the Inventory Items listed, and/or some of the available Quantities will not actually be used during the Installation or servicing of this Work Order.

 

Therefore, when one or more of the Inventory Items listed on the Installation List page is still available to be used: an Add 1 and Add n button (equal to the total Quantity defined in the in the Parts List tab) will appear below that Item.

Add n - Tap either Add 1 or Add N (as appropriate) to indicate the Quantity of the Inventory Item that was actually used on this Service Ticket

Tap the OK button to acknowledge and post this action.

The Inventory/Materials Usage (Inventory) page will be updated to show this Inventory Item usage.

If the Quantity used reduces the Quantity available below 2, then the Add N button will no longer be available.

If the Quantity used reduces the Quantity available to zero (0), no Add button will be available.
