The External Service Form allows a User to identify a Web Site address they want to be directly accessible from within the Subscribers and/or Prospects Form using the External Services Icon.

 

The External Services Form allows you to define any number of these External Services.

To access the External Services Form:

a)From the Backstage Menu System Select Maintenance and Choose General and Click the General Maintenance option which displays the Maintenance Menu or,

b)From the Quick Access Menu, Select Maintenance and Choose General Maintenance to display the Maintenance Menu.

 

Once the Maintenance Menu is displayed, Select Miscellaneous and Choose External Services to view the External Services Form shown below:

This External Services Form may be Re-sized by Dragging the Top and/or Bottom up or down, and/or the Right side in or out.

Navigation Menu - The Navigation Menu is located at the top of the External Services Form.

This Navigation Menu provides the normal Record Movement, New, Delete, Cancel, Save, Refresh, and List Icons.

 

Record Editing section - The details of the currently selected record are displayed below the Navigation Menu at the center (Main Body) of the External Services Form.

To define an External Service to identify a Web Site address to be directly accessible from within the Subscribers and/or Prospects Form.

Click the HelpFilesNavigationMenuNewIcon to start a External Service entry in the Record Editing section.

ID - The record number of this Extended Service will be assigned by the system saved.

Name - Enter a descriptive Name for this External Service.

Description - Enter a general Description of this External Service.

Target Type - Using the Drop-Down Selection List provided, Choose either Subscriber or Prospect

Host -  Enter a specific Web Site Address of this External Service.

Parameters - Enter any additional Parameters required to display the required/desired web page of this External Service.

Click the HelpFilesNavigationMenuSaveIcon to record this External Service.

Any number of additional External Services may be identified, as required.

 

Using the Special Functions - Located on the Navigation Menu at the top of the External Services Form:

List Icon - Click the List Icon to display a tabular (spreadsheet style) Data Grid containing all the defined External Services, and the List options section of the Ribbon Menu with the Export and Print Icons.

The columns of listed Grid Data may be rearranged, filtered, sorted, and exported as a PDF file and/or an Excel formatted file.

Find - Enter text to search for a specific record, then Click the Find option.

Clear - To remove the text to search for entry, Click the Clear option
