❑Reminder Types are used to categorize the general kinds of Reminders or Task Types that are assigned to Employees through the Reminders Form and the Task Tab on the Employee Calendar Form.
•Reminder Types - There are five predefined Reminder Types but more may be added.
1.Note - Read the Description (and/or the Subscribers or Prospect Comments area) for instructions.
2.Call - Telephone this Account.
3.Meeting - Attend a meeting - Read the Description (and/or the Subscribers or Prospect Comments area) for instructions.
4.To Do - You have to do this now - Read the Description (and/or the Subscribers or Prospect Comments area) for instructions.
5.Mediate - Read the Description (and/or the Subscribers or Prospect Comments area) for instructions.
•Entering Reminder Types
a)From the Backstage Menu System Select Maintenance and Choose General and Click the General Maintenance option which displays the Maintenance Menu, or
b)From the Quick Access Menu, Select Maintenance and Choose General Maintenance to display the Maintenance Menu.
✓Once the Maintenance Menu is displayed, Select Reminders and Choose Types.
Reminder Types Form
✓This (Reminder) Types Form may be Re-sized by Dragging the Top and/or Bottom up or down, and/or the Right side in or out.
•Navigation Menu - The Navigation Menu is located at the top of the Reminder Types Form.
✓This Navigation Menu provides the normal Record Movement, plus Add, Delete, Cancel, Save, Refreesh, and List options.
•Record Editing section - The record details are displayed below the Navigation Menu at the center (Main Body) of the (Reminder) Types Form.
•To define the (Reminder) Types which will be used to identify a Reminder:
✓Click the Icon to start the Reminder Types entry in the Record Editing section.
✓ID - This is the system assigned record number which is inserted automatically when the Reminder Types record is initially saved.
✓Description - Enter a brief Description for this Reminder Type entry.
▪The Description may up to 40 characters in length and include upper and/or lower case letters, numbers, spaces and normally used punctuation marks.
▪Four Reminder Types are predefined:
1)Note - Reminds you with a simple Note of explanation.
2)Call - Reminds you to make a Call to a Prospect or Subscriber.
3)Meeting - Reminds you of scheduled meeting.
4)To Do - Reminds of of what you are to do, and when.
▪Any number of additional Reminder Types may be defined.
✓Reminder For - Some Reminder Types are specifically directed toward Prospects, others to Subscribers, and some toward both.
▪By default, both the Subscriber and the Prospect boxes are Checked.
oSubscriber - Check this box if this is a Reminder Type for Subscribers.
oProspect - Check this box if this is a Reminder Type for Prospects.
➢Note: When using these Reminder Types for categorizing a Task on the Employee Calendar Form, All of these Reminder Types will be available for selection.
✓Click the Icon to record this Reminder Type entry.
✓The system will assign an ID.
✓Repeat this process to add additional Reminder Types.
List Icon - The Navigation Menu also has a List option which provides a tabular view of these Reminder Types records.
Reminder Types Form - List View
✓The columns of listed Grid Data may be rearranged, filtered, sorted, and exported as a PDF file and/or an Excel formatted file.
✓Find - Enter text to search for a specific record, then Click the Find option.
✓Clear - To remove the text to search for entry, Click the Clear option

List Icon - Click the List Icon again to Close the List View and return to the Record Editing View.
Export Icon - Click the Export Icon to create (one of there types of) a spreadsheet compatible file containing the Grid Data as it is currently organized and filtered.
Print - Click the Print Icon to display the Print Preview Form from which a custom report may be designed and "printed" as an Adobe® PDF File.
