❑General sub-tab within the Central Station User Options tab has four sub-sections that allow you to:
1.Time Settings - Enter your Time Zone related settings.
2.On Hold Options - Set your On Hold options
3.On Test Options - Set your On Test options.
4.Call List Information - Enter text and set rules for managing your Subscriber's Call List Information.
✓Indicate whether the Subscriber's Call List information should be included on your Open-Close Reports.
✓Enter the Call List Verification report's header text.
•To access the User Options Form from the MKMS Desktop,
a)From the Backstage Menu System Select Maintenance and Choose General, then Click User Options, or
b)From the Quick Access Menu, Select Maintenance and Choose User Options.
✓Click the Central Station Options tab.
✓Click the General sub-tab to view the Form illustrated below.

▪Time Zone -
▪Time Difference From GMT - Enter the number of hours before (a minus value) or after (a positive value) your Central Station is, in comparison to Greenwich Mean Time.
▪Honor Day Light Savings Time - Check this box if your local government honors Day Light Savings Time.
✓On Hold Options: Alarm Signals may be placed On Hold while awaiting an additional response (either an additional signal, or a Subscriber - or a Responding Authority - to call back).

▪On Hold Default (Minutes) - This is the default number of minutes MKMSCS will place the signal On Hold.
oAn Operator may increase this On Hold Default number up to the On Hold Maximum defined below (which may be up to a maximum 720 minutes - 12 hours).
▪On Hold Max (Minutes) - This is the maximum number of minutes MKMSCS will allow an Alarm Signal to be placed On Hold.
oAn Operator may increase the On Hold default number up to the number defined here which may be up to a maximum 720 minutes (i.e., 12 hours).
▪Allow Indefinite On Hold - Check this box if you do not want any restrictions on how long an Alarm Signal may be placed On Hold - generally only used because of maintenance personnel working on their system, or because of an on-going system malfunction.
✓On Test Options: Specific Zones (i.e., Panel Zones and/or CSID Zones), and/or entire Alarm Systems may be put into an On Test mode.
▪When an Account is Placed On Test, this instructs MKMSCS to simply log the specified Signals until the Allotted Time for the On Test mode has expired.
oThis means that SPA will ignore the designated Signal(s) - except to record them in the Subscriber's Alarm History file - even if they are normally supposed to be processed as Active Signals.
▪Click the Right tab then the On Test Options sub-tab to view the Form illustrated below.

▪Opr. On Test Default (Hours) - Enter the number of hours, by default, that specified Zone(s) or an entire Alarm System that is placed On Test by an Operator, will remain on On Test.
oThis number may not exceed 24 hours.
oThe value set here determines the default Ending Time when an Account is Placed On Test.
▪Sup. On Test Default (Hours) - Enter the number of hours, by default, that a system placed On Test by a Central Station Supervisor, will remain in the On Test mode.
oThis number may not exceed 720 hours (i,e., 30 Days).
✓Call List Information:

▪Call List Verification Text - Enter the Comment that you want included on all the Call List Verification Reports sent to your Subscribers.
oDouble-Click to convert this field to a Rich Text Editor.
▪Print Call List On OC Report - For those Subscribers who have requested to receive periodic Open and Close Reports, Check this box to have their Call List information included (for verification) on the report.
