The Recurring Service (Grid) dialog is populated by previously entered Recurring Service information

a)Provides a full function Grid containing a list of the Recurring Service Work Orders that will be generated for a User based on a specified Month and Year when the Auto Service (Automatically Generate Service Requests) function is executed

b)Allows you to View and/or Print and/or Export and/or Email the list of the Work Orders that will be generated by that Auto Service function

c)May be limited to those Subscribers who have been assigned to a specific Technician Group

 

To access the Recurring Service (Grid) Report:

a)From the Backstage Menu System Select Reports and Choose Service Tracking and Select the Recurring Service (Grid) option, or

b)From the Quick Access Menu, Select Reports and Choose Service Tracking and Select the Open Recurring Service (Grid) option

Period To Preview - This will list All Recurring Services that will be created for the Month and Year that's selected, based on the previously defined Recurring Service Setup records.

Year - By default, this will be the current Year, unless the Recurring Service (Grid) report is selected during the last Month of the current Year - in which case the Year presented will be next Year.  

A different Year may be selected, if needed

Month - By default, this will be current Month.

Use the Drop-Down Selection List to Choose the required Month.

 

Technician Group(s) - By default All Subscribers from All Technician Groups (and those Subscribers with no Technician Group assignment) will be included.

Optionally, using the Drop-Down Check Box List provided, Check each of the Technician Group(s) whose Subscribers are to be included (all other Subscribers' Recurring Services will be excluded)

The File Name may be specified (by default it is the Name of the Form from which the Export options was chosen).

The File Type may be specified (by default it is "XLS" but "TXT - Fixed Length", and "TXT Comma Delimited (CSV)" options are also available.

 

HelpFilesNavigationMenuEMailEMail - Once the data has been formatted, filtered, sorted and configured as needed, Click the Email Icon to send this data as a PDF attachment to an Email address of your choosing.

 

Grid Configuration

Columns - Select which columns of data are to be displayed:

Click the asterisk (¬) at the left of the data grid's Header row (see the mouse pointer in the illustration above) to display a list of all of the column names - and associated data - which may be included in the list.

By default, all Column Names will be Checked.

Remove the Check mark (Click on the Check to remove it) to hide that column of data from the data grid.

 

Setting the Order in which the data in the grid is Listed within the Recurring Service (Grid) dialog:

The default sorted order of the Recurring Service (Grid) List is based on the Subscriber - which is ordered alphabetically from lowest to highest (A - Z).

Thereafter, the column that determines the sorted order of the List may be easily changed, whenever needed.

To do so:

Click another column's Header Name (the mouse points to the sorting arrow within the Type Header Name in the illustration above) to change the sorted order to by on that column of data, with the sorted order automatically set from lowest to highest (a-z or 1 - 9).  

To change this newly selected column's sorted order from highest to lowest, Click that column's Header Name again.

An Arrow next to the Header Name indicates the column that is determining the sorted order of the Grid Data.

o~ indicates lowest to highest (a-z or 1 - 9)

o indicates highest to lowest (z-a or 9-1).

 

Grouping the Grid Data - The data grid may be separated into Groups based on a selected column's Header Name.

To do so: Drag & Drop a Header Name to the   Drag a column here to group a column  area above the data grid's Header.

All the rows associated with the selected Header Name will be Grouped together, followed by the next Header Name and its associated rows, etc.

 

To cancel the Grouping, just Drag & Drop the selected Header Name back to the Header itself.

If this Recurring Service data grid is closed when Grouping is still in effect, once reopened, the previously established Grouping will still be in effect.
