❑The Automatic Actions Form is used to define (identify and configure) certain procedures that will provide an Automatic Action (predefined alarm signal processing functionality) while the Central Station software is Processing Signals within MKMSCS.

•To add or update Automatic Actions, Access the Automatic Actions Form:
a)From the Backstage Menu System Select Maintenance and from the General sub-menu Choose General Maintenance locate the secondary Monitoring Menu, or
b)From the Quick Access Menu, Select Maintenance and Choose General Maintenance and locate the secondary Monitoring Menu.
✓Once in the Monitoring sub-menu, then Click on the Automatic Actions option.
Automatic Actions Form
✓This Automatic Actions Form may be Re-sized by Dragging the Top and/or Bottom up or down, and/or the Right side in or out.
•Navigation Menu - The Navigation Menu is located at the top of the Automatic Actions Form.
✓This Navigation Menu provides the normal Record Movement, New, Delete, Save, Refresh, and List options.
•Record Editing section - The details of the currently selected record are displayed below the Navigation Menu at the center (Main Body) of the Automatic Actions Form.
Automatic Actions - Record Editing View
•Defining an Automatic Action: First, Click the Icon to start a Automatic Action entry within the Record Editing section.
✓ID - A record number for this Automatic Action will be assigned when this entry is initially saved.
✓Comment - Enter a clear description of the purpose for this Automatic Action.
✓Optionally - as may be required to properly execute this Automatic Action:
a)Alarm Groups - , use the Drop-Down Check Box List provided to Choose the Alarm Group(s) who may use this Automatic Action, when required.
b)Alarm Codes - Optionally, use the Drop-Down Check Box List provided to Choose the Alarm Code(s) that should trigger this Automatic Action, when required.
c)Town Codes - Optionally, use the Drop-Down Check Box List provided to Choose the Town Code(s) representing the jurisdictions that may use this Automatic Action.
d)Dealer Codes - Optionally, use the Drop-Down Check Box List provided to Choose the Dealer Code(s) that may use this Automatic Action.
e)City List - As needed, create a Comma Separated list of City Name(s) that may use this Automatic Action.
f)State List - As needed, create a Comma Separated list of State Code(s) that may use this Automatic Action.
g)Zip List - As needed, create a Comma Separated list of Zip Code(s) that may use this Automatic Action.
h)Priority Limit - Optionally, enter a minimum Priority Level that should trigger this Automatic Action.
✓Action List - Use the Drop-Down Check Box List provided to Choose the appropriate Action List item(s) that are to be executed (automatically) when this Automatic Action is used

▪Call List Type - Some Action List items require a Call List Type designation.
oThe Call List Type selected determines when and/or how - during an Automatic Signal Processing procedure - the selected Notification Action should be performed
Automatic Actions - Record Editing View - Action List items - Call List Types
✓Click the Icon to record this Automatic Action entry.
✓Repeat this process, as needed, to define additional Automatic Actions, as needed.
List Icon - The Navigation Menu also has a List option which provides a tabular view of these Automatic Action records.
Automatic Actions Form - List View
✓Some columns may contain expanded comments or other information which may make the List View's display somewhat difficult to use.
Ø - Click the Asterisk at the left of the row of Header Names to display a Drop-Down Check List of each column's Headed Name.

▪Check any Header Name to be included in the List View (by default, All Header Names will be Checked)
▪Remove the Check for any Header Name (see illustration below) that is to be removed from the List View.
✓Click the List Icon to display the associated Grid Data.
✓The columns of Grid Data may be rearranged, filtered, sorted, and exported as a PDF file and/or an Excel formatted file.
✓Find - Enter text to search for a specific record, then Click the Find option.
✓Clear - To remove the text to search for entry, Click the Clear option

✓Click the List Icon again to Close the List View and return to the Record Editing View.
